Weaknesses (know before you buy)
High-position stability
The most documented complaint: our colleagues at deskup.io measured about 8 mm of wobble at 120 cm, roughly 2.6× the FlexiSpot E7 Pro. Seated, no issue. Standing with a heavy dual-monitor setup, it can be felt while typing. For a light-to-medium setup, it's a non-issue.
The shorter warranty
5 years, versus 10 at FlexiSpot on the frame. Steel frames rarely fail — it's the motor and electronics that age. Check the frame/motor split in the warranty terms before buying.
Base desktop and support
The included melamine desktop (120x60 cm, 18 mm) is thin and scratches easily — plan a desk mat or a third-party desktop if finish matters. Support is email-only, with a stated 24-72 h response time: no phone line.
Who is it for?
The HomePro is for you if:
- You want the best possible feature set under €400-500
- You work in an open-plan office or on calls (motor silence is decisive)
- You want a complete bundle with nothing extra to buy
It's probably not the right choice if:
